Check both treatment and dispensing limits
Request the membrane-system rating under stated feed conditions, as well as the dispenser’s temperature and storage specifications. Confirm where the concentrate stream goes and how treatment components can be serviced. A dispenser cabinet does not explain the entire RO process, and an RO label does not establish every model-specific reduction claim.
An RO dispenser has two capacity questions
Membrane production replenishes the treated-water supply, while the dispenser stores and serves it at the chosen temperatures. The two ratings should not be merged into one capacity claim. Review the selected treatment arrangement, concentrate connection and service access as well as the dispensing demand. A cabinet with fitted filtration should not be labelled RO unless the actual configuration includes the membrane process.
| Requirement | What to compare | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| RO production | Review permeate output and feed conditions | Provide concentrate handling and treatment access |
| Dispensing | Review temperatures, storage and recovery | Match the busiest use period |
| System integration | Review the connection between treatment and dispenser | Confirm compatibility of the chosen arrangement |
A selection mistake to avoid
Do not assume that every direct-in dispenser in a product catalogue includes RO. Confirm the exact supplied system configuration.
Does a direct-in dispenser automatically include RO?
No. Check the actual treatment configuration. An RO system and a dispensing unit must be assessed together for compatible production, storage, connections and intended use.
Planning the enquiry in Sabah
Record the water source, available pressure and intended daily use. Include photographs of the proposed pipe and drain connections. SWFI’s commercial range includes RO-related equipment categories; confirm the exact model and configuration when enquiring. Retain both the treatment and dispenser manuals so servicing is based on the complete installed system.
Information to prepare
- Membrane production and feed conditions
- Dispensing capacity and storage
- Concentrate connection and filter access
Is the dispensing capacity the same as RO production?
No. Stored water can support short demand peaks, while membrane production determines how the supply is replenished. Both need review.
Discuss your requirement with SWFI
Share your site location and the information listed above. SWFI can review the requirement; equipment selection, supply and service scope are subject to technical suitability and confirmation.
